Description
A Driveshaft Loop secures the driveshaft inside the transmission tunnel in the event of a U-Joint failure. This safety feature helps prevent the car from pole vaulting or the driveshaft from puncturing the floorboard & injuring the driver. It’s required on cars running faster than a 13.99 in the Quarter Mile when using slicks, & any car running quicker than an 11.49 on street tires.

We get asked this daily – it has 4.25″ of clearance on the inside of the loop, so a 3″, 3.5″ shaft will fit.
This bolts under the floor where the stock strap was.
There is no drilling required with our drive shaft loops.
A driveshaft safety loop is a steel strap 2″ wide & 1/4″ thick formed into a loop. The loop keeps the driveshaft contained in the transmission tunnel in the event of a ruinous U-Joint failure.
